Passion has close relationships with the community around it and positively encourages work with local Police, Impact and Social Services. Passion has one paid Youth worker paid for by kind donations and grants. There is a dedicated team of 15 volunteers who help run the drop-in space currently three nights a week. It is completely free for young people to access the drop-in space. This helps to engage with those young people that feel isolated and unable to access other facilities due to financial circumstances.
WORK IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
These have included:
Helping at community events. The young people have successfully ran the food element at fairs in order to raise money for other charities.
Putting together Christmas boxes for young people in care homes so they will have presents to open on Christmas day.
